I am a solo artist and self taught. I hosted art sales at the age of 13 and from there became an apprentice at STL ARTWorks, St. Louis. I was there for about a year and a half learning from teaching artists and earning a little bit of money (I loved working there, but I also wasn’t earning enough). So I eventually had to go look for a “real job” since the studio was more for education and future careers. A lot of friends and family or even acquaintances and strangers might recognize my name, knowing me as a painter, but I also feel passionate about connecting with others emotionally and mentally, for support and counsel. Art can also express emotions as well and in unique ways.
