It’s beautiful today,
The Sun is shinning
A slight cool brisk in the gentle wind
And you’re moving out
The years I’ve had
The stories I tell
Time I have spent in depth taking care of you
For you to pack up and leave
Bitter Sweet when a child grows
Teaching right from wrong,
Respect and responsibility.
What did I expect? The worse.
I prayed for the best
And somehow got it.
A reasonable, well educated, independent woman
On a beautiful day.
