My name is Jim Schweikart. I’m 65 years old and started painting about 10 years ago. I paint with acrylics. I paint on almost anything- canvas, plates, rocks, wood, etc. I started doing plates about 10 years ago, then jumped into canvas. I like doing big canvas. Not sure what my style is…. if pleasing to the eye, I’m happy. My wife had her shop in Mascoutah and I keep a lot of my art in one room there.
