I am a self-trained artist that specializes in portrait art. I am a single father of 4 wonderful children. I was born and raised in the city of St. Louis, MO.
I started off drawing with just a number 2 pencil back in 2017. As my skills rapidly developed, I started using graphite soft-leads and also charcoal. I then graduated on to using color pencils. Portraits was not my beginning process, but over time I developed very detailed imagery of facial expressions, blemishes, and (my favorite of all) the development of the eyes that always seem to tell a story.
Recently, I began to experiment with oil paints and soon realized I was more and more passionate about my skill intake from constant studying and, of course, mistakes. All in all, I feel as if this art thing is not a hobby, by far. It is a gift that has enhanced tremendously. My passion for my creativity has reached an all-time high and I feel I was born to express myself through my art and I want nothing less than to share this strong desire to create from my heart with every image I produce. I’m a perfectionist; so, nothing from me will carry any less value with each creation manifested from my heart and soul. I eat, breathe and sleep art because ART IS ME.
