About the Artist:
“I consider myself a bit of a curious creative — during my first years of college at STLCC – Meramec, I decided to study Mass Communications, absolutely falling in love with black and white photography. For the next 20 years, I would find myself dabbling in photography (in all of its forms), in graphic design – earning my Master of Fine Arts Degree in Media Design and in special events coordination, eventually landing the perfect gig here at Third Degree Glass Factory. Here, in this place, I am surrounded by and exposed to the influences I adore the most – amazing art in several forms, my passion for event planning, and amazing creatives of all types.

“With this inspiration surrounding me — I feel this is where the journey to creating my life’s work begins — combining my love for photography with the my passion for graphic design, and sharing it with the world. I am looking forward to traveling more with my two sons, Jordan (15) and Andrew (7), so they may enjoy, experience and capture the curiosities of life with me.

“Words to live by? Wanderlust – experience it all. And of course my mantra — Positive mind, positive vibe, positive life. Love to all.”

This past summer, an opportunity presented itself for Tracey to travel abroad. Her goal has always been to experience the “cracks and crevices of the world,” and in return share the experience with others via her work and passion for photography and graphic design. Last July, Tracey captured some of the amazing “off the beaten path” parts of Rome, Florence, Venice (Venezia) and Murano–a small island off the coast of Venice, known for its long, rich history in glassmaking.
